BIGVU AI Credits System

BIGVU now uses a credit system for all AI features.

This article answers the most common questions about how credits work.

How do I get credits?

You can get credits in two ways:

1. Subscription plans (monthly credits)

Credits refresh every billing month:

  • Free – 500 credits (one-time only)
  • Starter ($20/mo) – 1,500 credits/month
  • AI Pro ($39/mo) – 3,000 credits/month
  • AI Max ($80/mo) – 10,000 credits/month
Annual plans still receive credits monthly, not all at once.

2. Credit top-ups (one-time purchase)

You can buy extra credits anytime:

  • Micro – 1,000 credits
  • Creator – 2,750 credits
  • Studio – 12,000 credits
  • Power – 40,000 credits
These do not expire and are added on top of your plan.

Do my credits expire?

  • Subscription credits: reset every month (unused credits don’t roll over)
  • Top-up credits: never expire

Which credits are used first?

When you use a feature:

  1. Subscription credits are used first
  2. Top-up credits are used after

What can I use credits for?

Credits are used across all AI tools. Examples:

  • Avatar videos – charged per second
  • AI videos – charged per second
  • Script writing – per script
  • AI images – per image
  • Voiceovers – per second Each feature has a specific credit cost.
Each feature has a specific credit cost.

Why can’t I access some features on the Free plan?

Free users:

  • Get 500 credits once only
  • Have limited access to features
Premium features unlock when you:
  • Subscribe to any paid plan, OR
  • Buy a credit top-up

What happens if I upgrade my plan?

If you upgrade mid-cycle:

  • You keep your remaining credits
  • You get the difference in credits added

Example:

If you upgrade from Starter (1,500) to AI Pro (3,000), you receive +1,500 credits (minus what you've already used).

What happens if I downgrade or cancel?

  • Downgrade: takes effect next billing cycle
  • Cancel:
    • You can use your credits until the end of your billing period
    • After that, subscription credits reset to zero
    • Top-up credits remain available

What happens if I run out of credits?

  • You won’t be able to run new AI actions
  • You’ll be prompted to:
    • Upgrade your plan, or
    • Buy more credits

Will I be notified when my credits are low?

Yes!

You’ll get an email when your credits drop below 10% of your plan.

Examples:

  • Starter: below 150 credits
  • Pro: below 300 credits
  • Max: below 1,000 credits

How are credits calculated for videos?

  • Costs are based on duration (seconds)
  • The system shows an estimated cost before you start
  • If the final video is shorter, unused credits are returned
