Word By Word Subtitle Animation (Web)

Add word-by-word subtitle animations to make your videos more engaging and accessible. As you speak, the matching word in the subtitles will be animated

This feature can help the hearing impaired follow along and keep your audience engaged for longer periods. Plus, if you translate subtitles, they will still sync with your speech, making it easier for your audience to understand.

📶 Which devices support this feature? Available on the mobile app and web platform

Choose a Video

Select a video that you want to edit, (1) click on the 3 dots, and choose (2) Edit



The Take Screen opens, and you can choose the take that you want to style, by clicking on the 3-dots menu



A popup appears you can select Open Video Maker to style your video

Video Maker

On the left side, Select Themes

Once the Themes window opens, you can choose from the available Animations


You have 4 Animations to choose from:

Highlight Word - looks like a karaoke-style, word highlights in sync with your speech

Box - creates a box effect on every word you speak

Reveal - Subtitle appears in sync with your speech

Single Word - Subtitle appears in word-by-word
