Choose different layouts per scene (Web)

If you're looking for ways to customize the feel and look of your videos, one of the best ways to make an impact is to change the layout of your scenes. Doing this can help create different moods and emphasize different points in your video.

Open Video Maker



Opening Video Maker will automatically add captions to your video: You need to choose the language of your captions and wait while they generate, the process can take a minute.

Follow these steps to open the video maker:

Select a video that you want to edit, click on the 3 dots menu (1), and choose Edit (2)



The Take Screen opens. Now, select the desired take by clicking the three-dot menu located beneath its name.



A pop-up window will appear, offering you the option to choose "Open Video Maker" in order to stylize your video.



📢 When you first open the Video Maker, it may take some time to generate the captions. Please be patient. Once finished, click again on video maker to see the captions.

In the center of Video Maker you can preview your video, by clicking play.

To the right of your video, you can view and edit your captions

To the left, you can see a sidebar to style your video or add media.

Under your video, you have the ability to add a logo, play with zooming in and out of the frame, and change the Layout



👀 By default, your first scene will be on the Lower 3rd layout but you can always change it back to Captions or whichever you prefer.

Types of Layouts





To select the layout you want for each scene: Select the scene on the right and then click on one of the layouts (Captions, Lower Third, Quote, Highlight, Intro, or Split).

🤓If there is not enough time for the animation of the lower third layout to display, properly, trying merging two scenes. To merge two scenes click on the three dots menu of the scene and choose "Merge with the Next"

Save your Video

Once satisfied with the changes, you can now save your video by clicking the Create button on the top right side of the page
