1/ Add Captions in Video Maker

Opening Video Maker will automatically add captions to your video: you need to choose the language of your captions and wait while it generates.

This process can take a minute.

1. Select a video in which you want to add Captions click on the 3 dots and choose Edit.

2. Choose the take in which you want to add Captions, by clicking on the 3 dots and choosing Open in Video Maker.

2/ Add Captions in your Project Video

You also can Add Captions directly in the Project Video Screen but it would be more convenient to edit segments and style Captions in Video Maker.

1. Open the relevant video.

2. Click on the 3 dots and select Add Captions (this process can take a minute).

  • Automatic captions are generated based on automatic speech-to-text engine and therefore there will be some mistakes. It is better to add a written script before adding the captions to improve accuracy.

3. A window will pop up asking to select the language of the captions.

4. The video will be segmented automatically: you can check if Captions are appropriate and correct errors if there are any.

5. Click on "Save Captions" when you edited them

In order to edit more precisely the Segmentation of Captions and Style them, you can open the Video Maker.
